Application of anaerobic adhesive

Because of its unique anaerobic curing characteristics, anaerobic adhesive can be used for locking, sealing, fixing, bonding, plugging, etc. Anaerobic adhesive has become an indispensable liquid tool in mechanical industry. Widely used in aerospace, military, automotive, machinery, electronics, electrical and other industries.

1. locking and locking. Metal screws are easy to loosen when subjected to impact and vibration. The traditional mechanical locking method is not ideal, while the chemical locking method is cheap and effective. If the screw is assembled after adding anaerobic adhesive, a strong plastic gel will be formed in the thread gap after curing, so that the screw will not loosen. At present, there is a kind of pre coated anaerobic adhesive, that is, pre coated on the screw, placed for use, and screwed into the screw to achieve the ideal anti loosening effect.

2. Sealing and leak proof. It is impossible for any plane to be in full close contact and a leak proof seal is required. The traditional method is to use rubber, asbestos, metal and other gaskets, but they will soon leak due to aging or corrosion. Anaerobic adhesive is used to replace the solid gasket, which can realize close contact after curing and make the seal more durable. It is used to seal threaded pipe joints and threaded plugs, flange mating surfaces, and mechanical box mating surfaces. It has a good leak proof effect.

3. Fixed positioning. Cylindrical components, such as bearing and shaft, belt pulley and shaft, gear and shaft, bearing and seat hole, bushing and hole and other hole and shaft combination accessories, have been reassembled without exception by hot sleeve, cold pressing and other dimensional interference methods, supplemented by keys and pins. This kind of fixing method has strict processing accuracy requirements, and it is easy to loose due to wear and corrosion due to different thermal expansion coefficients. Anaerobic adhesive can be used to fill the fitting gap, which is firm, durable, stable and reliable after curing. The method of anaerobic adhesive fixation reduces the requirements of machining accuracy, facilitates assembly and operation, improves production efficiency, and saves energy consumption and processing costs.

4. Filling and plugging. For castings, die castings, powder metallurgy parts and weldments with micropores, the anaerobic adhesive with low viscosity can be applied to the defects to make the adhesive liquid penetrate into the micropores. Under the condition of isolating oxygen at room temperature, the curing can be completed and the holes can be filled with sealing effect. If vacuum infiltration is adopted, the success rate is higher. This method has become a new technology in the casting industry.
